About Sanskar Vatika

EK SOCH - A Thought...In the year 2009, some young individuals in Hyderabad came together with a thought to connect the coming generation with philosophy, knowledge, and character.Upon visiting Sanskar Vatika in Chennai, they were inspired and decided to start a similar initiative in Hyderabad. With the support of the Sri Shankheshwar Parshvanath Jain Shwetambar Sangh,Goshamahal - Sanskar Vatika was launched in Hyderabad on December 25, 2009.Initially our team thought that if we could get 50 students who could join, then we shall be successful. However, with the blessings of the LORD PARSHWANATH, we received 150 applications. The team then worked with enthusiasm and dedication to start the classes, shaping the future of the younger generation.

## EK SOCH - A Thought...

Day 1 @ Sanskar Vatika,
The first Sunday, where our little ones takes rest. Among which some were drawn to this place out of curiosity, some due to parental encouragement, and others due to the promise of fun activities. Slowly but surely, they began to take small steps towards Sanskar Vatika.
The day started with a beautiful prayer to Goddess Saraswati at 9:00 am, followed by a simple explanation of Jain philosophy by teachers. The first class from 9:30-10:30 am was a great learning experience.
This was followed by a fun-filled hour of learning basic sutras.
The children returned home happily on the first day, eagerly looking forward to the next Sunday.
As the classes progressed, Sanskar Vatika's momentum picked up speed, covering various topics such as food awareness, Jain geography, the importance of PARENTS, Daily Routines, the names of 24 Tirthankars, devotional songs, thrilling stories, and the lives of great personalities. Through these lessons, the children at Sanskar Vatika were instilled with beautiful values and life skills.
"चालो जी चालो नवग्रह जावा रे – चालो चालो मुनिसुव्रत दरबार”
One-day trip: A visit to Shri Navgraha Tirth, near Hyderabad, was organized for the children.
They enthusiastically participated in the grand Snatra Mahotsav, offering worship to the Parmatma. Around 100 children took part in the event.
A fun-filled competition of games and sports was also organized, and the children expressed their desire to have more such trips in the future. The event was a huge success, and the children had a blast!
"संस्कार वाटिका जाना पढ़कर आना... सभी जन पूछे एडमिशन कैसे पाना”
Demand: Considering the high demand from the area, admissions were reopened within 6 months, and around 350 students were admitted. The knowledge sessions started flowing like a river at both Shri Shankheshwar Parshvanath Jain Shwetambar Temple and Jain School, Begum Bazar.
